Las Vegas, famous for tourism, entertainment and gaming, is “THE” entertainment capital of the world.

In Vegas, playing can be a lot of fun. Playing can be very easy and winning there, can take little effort too. But a question to ask is how to leave Las Vegas with money. This is a deception that gamblers often encounter.

Here are a few general pointers to go home with your winnings:

* Set a rule for the pit games and as much as possible, stick to it. It could be that you play no pit games at all, or if you should, set a strict budget.

* Have some rest. Playing can take place for hours. If you find yourself losing, stop and have some rest. Take the time to do other things, like going up to your hotel room to change, watch television, or sleep. After which you can then go back to the game. Chances are, the winners have already left and losers are already drunk, so take advantage of the situation!

* Look around and study the players first. These are unfamiliar faces. Be attentive as to how they play the game. Never be hesitant to change tables for better luck, if your game is not going smoothly.

* When playing thru a slot machine, change your bet every time you spin. Avoid betting the same amount of coins every spin. This is good at machines that offer free spins.

* At slots, don’t bet on all paylines. Bet maximum coins on just a few.

* Say no to alcoholic drinks while at play. When high in alcohol, one tends to have great guts. Avoid it; you might be very daring as to place a large bet for not so good cards.

* Manage your money well. Allot a certain amount that you want to play with for the day. Play the money through the slot machine only once. After that, take whatever winnings you have or stop if the allotted money is all used up. If playing pit games, do the same, play within a budget.

* If you lose, you quit, Simple. You will know your luck as you play along. If you tend to be losing, don’t push it and bet harder hoping you can win and recuperate.

But, as in any game, the best strategy is patience. Watch a while, stand back and study the statistics.

Gambling above all, whether one be an expert or not, is a game of luck.

Devils Dyke – A beautiful destination, and a stones throw from the Brighton town centre, Devils Dyke offers a great opportunity to stroll, picnic and take in some spectacular views. It’s easy to get there – just hop onto an open top bus and enjoy the scenic drive en route.

The Marina – The Marina is a lovely scene. You can stroll along the waterside, watch fishermen and sail boats float to and fro from the marina and enjoy some wonderful views at the same time.

Lewes – Very close to Brighton is the tiny little riverside town of Lewes. It’s barely 15 minutes by train, and yet boasts a cute collection of pleasant restaurants, nice views and plenty of opportunity for walkers to enjoy spectacular countryside views (with more than a couple of decent treks).

Maui is an island steeped in history. It was named after the mythological demigod, Maui, because it is thought its shape resembles his head and body. The Iao Valley State Park was a sacred burial ground for the alli (Hawaiian Royalty) and home of the 1200 foot Iao needle, a rock peak overlooking Iao stream. The site is ideal for hiking and sightseeing.

From the work weary looking for relaxation to the time rich looking for adventure, Maui offers something for everyone, including the children. Take a book and while away the hours on any of its pristine beaches, take a whale watching tour, watch the sunrise from the 10,000 Haleakala Crater, spend a day at the Iao Valley State Park, or simply spend the day browsing the museums and shops.

Maui’s beaches are seemingly endless. The blue crystal clear waters are set against the beautiful backdrop of the Island’s lush greenery, contrasted only by the wide stretches of sandy beach making it perfect for sun baking, snorkeling, surfing or just taking in the view.

For the kids there’s the Maui Ocean Centre where you can walk through an acrylic tunnel while you watch the manta rays and sharks swimming overhead. There’s also the Nature Centre and the 1890’s Lahaina-Kaanapali sugar cane train ride. Most resorts and hotels offer daily programs for children.

Humpback whales migrate to Maui’s warmer waters from December through to May providing the perfect opportunity to view these majestic creatures in their natural environment. You can also learn more about the whales by visiting the historic whaling town of Lahaina.

The New Forest, one of Britain’s oldest medieval forests – is now tagged as an area of outstanding beauty, heritage and one of the United Kingdoms treasured National Parks. As you venture your way into the New Forest, it becomes very apparent that this beautiful place is unique on so many levels – from the way the wildlife peacefully interact with the locals and visitors to the delightful range of scenery and landscapes – which changes from season to season.

You’re in the New Forest – one of the must see natural sights of beauty on any visit or holiday to England. A visit or holiday within the New Forest can be special for multiple reasons. Small towns like Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Burley are a joy to explore, there are numerous forests, heaths and wildlife to explore in the vast spaces between villages and there are a number of additional attractions, theme parks, gardens and wildlife centres dotted in and about the park area.

The New Forest encompasses an area of 150 square miles, and within the space there are ancient woodlands, heathlands that are blanketed by gorse and age old valleys.

As you explore, you’ll uncover picture perfect, quaint English villages – the type with narrow winding lanes and quaint little cafes and tea-shops, you’ll see horses, ponies, cows and many other animals and birds just frolicking in the landscape either side of you (and sometimes on the roads). You’ll also get the chance to take on some wonderful walks and treks that dissect rivers, streams and more. It’s why New Forest is one of the most wonderful natural places in Southern England, and why over seven million people come to visit every year.

A Brief History About The New Forest…

It’s been discovered that settlers to the New Forest can be traced back to the Bronze age, where they cut through woodland to cultivate crops. This is one of the reasons for the distinctive and varied landscapes – where you can see woodland on one side of the road and heathland on the other. The heavy farming conducted by these bronze age settlers resulted in the heaths so devoid of any trees to this day.

The actual “New Forest” was created in the late 10th century when William The Conqueror wished to create a hunting area (hunting being highly prevalent at the time as a royal sport).

Later on, around the 17th century, the Bucklers Hard village was founded in order to use timber in nearby areas in order to produce naval battle ships. This placed a tremendous strain on the timber reserves and woodland in the New Forest and it wasn’t until 1877 that the New Forest Act was introduced to preserve timber in the forest.

It wasn’t until 2005 that New Forest officially became an official National Park – and the number of visitors to this beautiful natural place of beauty is increasing year on year.
